Welcome Valley Church Family!
We would like to thank you for joining us in online giving. Our church will continue to keep the tithe boxes in the back of our auditorium, but now we are offering you the choice to give your tithes and offerings online.
Jesus says "Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be." (Matt 6:21 NLT) Our hope is that you've prayed and purposed in your heart what you plan to give God. Giving to God should be a joy, it is one of the ways we worship God. Tithing is different from offerings because we are expressing that we choose to put Him first in our finances. He wants us to choose Him first in everything we do. Tithing means to give God 10 percent and keep 90 percent of your gross income. Offerings are one time donations that God is leading you to give. You shouldn't feel forced, pressured, or give under compulsion. If however, Valley Church is not your home church then your tithes belong to your own local church. (2 Corinthians 9:7, Deuteronomy 14:23, Malachi 3:8-10)
